1. Feel & Performance: GP2-Hard is built for all-around performance. It’s the most firm rubber in the GP series, but it’s still a soft rubber being slightly softer compared to other Italian sole manufacturers. GP2-Hard gives climbers the support they need on micro-edges and vertical terrain, while remaining perfect for competition, board, and outdoor styles of climbing. While it doesn’t have the ultra-soft stickiness of the GP1 Series, it still carries RATOM’s signature sticky feel thanks to the racing-slick base material.

2. Best For: Steep, technical climbing and outdoor routes where edging precision and durability matter most. Perfect for climbers who burn through softer rubbers too quickly.

3. Notes: GP2-Hard sacrifices some smearing performance (compared to the GP1 Series, but its control, stability, and long wear life make it a workhorse for advanced boulderers and sport climbers alike.
